Our process (respectful, precise, practical)

1) Measure & brief

We visit your home to confirm sizes, wall structure, power points, ventilation and the room’s light. We discuss family preferences — deities’ sizes, seating/standing height, bell placement, incense use, and storage for diyas, camphor, matchboxes and books. Outcome: a respectful brief that reflects daily rituals and site realities.

2) Design & materials

We prepare CAD drawings and finishes. We’ll show door styles, jali patterns, pillar profiles, cornices, and options for stone/solid-surface shelves where heat may be present. We plan LED lighting, switch positions, wire routing, and removable trays for cleaning. Outcome: approved drawings, finish schedule, hardware/lighting plan and realistic timeline.

3) Manufacture (in-house)

Your temple is cut, carved, edged and assembled at our Girraween workshop. CNC-cut jali panels, turned pillars, fluted details and mouldings are handled in-house for fit and consistency. Outcome: ready-to-install joinery protected for transport and assembly.

4) Install & handover

We protect floors, fix securely to structure, set reveals and level idols’ plinths. We connect lighting, discreetly route wiring and provide a care guide. A 90-day check is available on request to fine-tune after daily use.
Outcome: a serene, stable and easy-to-care temple space.

Design details that elevate devotion (and daily ease)

Proportions & sightlines

  • Idol eye-line planned for seated or standing worship
  • Plinth depths sized to deity base or frames
  • Door swing/slider choice for compact spaces

Storage that makes sense

  • Aarti pull-out tray (heat-aware top) for quick rituals
  • Prasad & camphor drawers with dividers
  • Scripture shelves sized to book heights
  • Tall compartment for arti thali and diya plates
  • Concealed drawer for matches/lighters

Lighting that feels calm

  • Warm LED strips with diffusers for soft, shadow-free glow
  • Spot accents for deities or carvings
  • Hidden drivers with access panels; no harsh glare

Fragrance & ventilation

  • Vent slots or micro-louvres to disperse incense smoke
  • Removable diya tray with metal insert for heat resistance
  • Air gaps behind back panels where appropriate

Cleanliness & safety

  • Spill-safe tops (stone/solid-surface or metal plate) under diya tray
  • Rounded arrises on touch edges
  • Stable fixing into studs/masonry; anti-tip for freestanding units
  • Cable-safe routing for bells/lights (no dangling leads)

Materials & finishes (devotional, durable, easy to care)

  • Cabinet fronts & frames
    • 2-pack polyurethane — crisp profiles in matte/satin; colour-matched to décor
    • Melamine/laminate — durable, easy-clean interiors and secondary panels
    • Timber veneer — warmth and grain for doors, pillars and feature backs
    • Solid timber accents — hand-feel edges, crowns and turned details
  • Back panels & features
    • CNC jali (custom patterns), fluted battens, V-groove, mirror or stone highlights
    • Metal inlays or accent trims where desired
  • Shelves & tops
    • Engineered stone / solid surface for diya zones and spill-safe areas
    • Timber/veneer shelves for scriptures and décor (located away from flame)
  • Hardware & lighting
    • Soft-close hinges/drawers as standard
    • Push-to-open or discreet handles
    • Warm LED strip/spot lighting with accessible drivers and dimmers

Popular temple configurations (to spark ideas)

  • Classic freestanding shrine: stepped plinth, carved pillars, crown with bell rail, jali side panels, stone diya shelf and aarti pull-out
  • Wall niche mandir: compact cabinet with sliding doors, warm LED halo and scripture drawer
  • Temple wall: full-height backdrop with fluted battens, centred plinth, side storage and concealed wiring
  • Sideboard temple: portable unit with integrated bell rail, removable diya tray, hidden castors
  • Twin-zone mandir: one zone for idols, second for scriptures/prasad with tall door and internal lighting
We’ll mock up options and walk through pros/cons for space, safety and maintenance.

Placement guidance (Vastu-aware, home-friendly)

Every home is different. While families may follow specific guidance, our role is to make the joinery safe, stable and serene:
  • Choose a quiet wall with comfortable access and minimal foot traffic.
  • Avoid locations exposed to direct draughts; allow air to disperse incense gently.
  • Provide nearby power for lighting, routed discreetly.
  • Plan seating or kneeling space if used.
We’ll help you weigh aesthetics, safety and daily convenience.

Timeline & scheduling (what to expect)

  1. Measure & consult: booked promptly after your call
  2. Design & selections: shortly after measure; timing scales with carving/CNC detail and stone choices
  3. Manufacture (in-house): scheduled after approvals; components pre-finished where practical
  4. Install: set, level, fix, connect lighting; clean handover
You’ll receive a schedule before we begin — and updates if a particular finish has longer lead times.

Budget drivers (and where to invest)

  • Size & complexity — domes, pillars, crown mouldings and CNC jali increase detailing time
  • Finish level — 2-pack profiles and veneer features cost more than flat melamine
  • Stone/metal elements — diya shelves and inlays add materials and fabrication
  • Lighting — strips/spots, dimmers and concealed drivers add parts and labour
  • Access & fixings — masonry fixing, hidden cabling and anti-tip systems influence install time
Value tips:
  • Prioritise a stone/solid-surface diya shelf and quality lighting — they’re used daily and keep the unit clean.
  • Use veneered feature backs with painted surrounds for premium look without over-capitalising.
  • Keep storage internals in easy-clean melamine; invest in finish where you see and touch.
